When you think of high school football and teams that are just dominating their competition then you have to put the Kinder Yellow Jackets in that conversation!

Reason? They have now won 24 straight games. Kinder's last loss was against the Westlake Rams on Friday, September 27th, 2013. That is unheard of for a high school football program to be that dominating!

Last year in 2013, it was a magical season for the Yellow Jackets.  They were 9-1 in the regular season and entered the 2013 2-A playoffs and went on a tear. They racked up 4 straight wins in the playoffs to advance to the 2-A State Championship where they faced Many.

The Yellow Jackets beat Many 34-20 to win the State Championship! Now they are looking to repeat this year!

Kinder is undefeated this season going 10-0 in the regular season and has reeled off 3 straight dominating wins in the playoffs this year.  Kinder who is ranked the #2 seed in the LHSAA playoff bracket, has outscored their opponents in the playoffs 121-20.  Wow total domination!

Tonight the Yellow Jackets are just one more win away from heading to New Orleans and playing for the 2-A State Championship again.  They will first have to get through the #3 seeded Sterlington who is from Monroe, Louisiana. The game will be played in Kinder tonight at John C. Buck Stadium.  Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

If they win this game tonight, they will face the winner of the Many/Northeast game.  How crazy would it be if Kinder and Many both win tonight?

If it happens, Many and Kinder would meet up for the 2nd straight year in a Class 2A state championship rematch.

Good Luck Yellow Jackets. Punch your ticket to the dome!
