Jo-El Sonnier Headlines 5th Annual “Showdown On The Sabine”

Get ready for some exciting boat racing action and live Cajun music this weekend September 21st-23rd, 2012 at the "Showdown On The Sabine". Best of all, it's FREE to go!

The event is held on City Boat Ramp on Simmons Drive in Orange, Texas.

Some of the entertainment playing Saturday Sept. 22nd include Christian Friends with Matthew Burke, French Bred with Matthew Burke, Timmy Dugas and Zydecane and of course the legendary Jo-EL Sonnier.

Jo-El Sonnier will be live on stage from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m!

Get ready for the 5th Annual Tunnel Boat Races, September 21, 22 and 23 at the City Boat Ramp on Simmons Drive. Testing begins Friday, September 21 at 3:00 PM, Saturday testing and qualifying runs all day, then Sunday finals and awarding of trophy's at days end. Visit with the drivers and their crew after getting PIT PASSES from the Convention and Visitors Bureau at the CVB tent.

Lots of family fun and children's activities. Bring your lawn chairs and join the excitement.
Tents allowed ONLY on the top of levee overlooking the river.

Saturday, Live Bands from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on stage near food and craft vendors.
