The day started of with DJ Kevin Moreau Followed by a performance of Skeeter Jones & The Beer Can Band. Then the Talented Damon Troy & The Final Five took the stage and rocked the house which set the tone for a great day and evening of great performances!!

At 3pm the Legendary Swamp Pop Legend Jivin' Gene took the stage with Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition playing some great swamp pop music followed by an Acoustic set by Zona Jones.

Around 530 pm they stopped the music for some special presentations from different organizations like "Cops & Jocks" and a Biker Club who presented the the Benefit with checks from monies raised from the Cops & Jocks Tournament and a poker run which had over 200 riders in it Sunday.

Dale Mann along with an Auctioneer then presented items up for grabs in the live auction.  Some of the items were a Blown up cover of Sports Illustrated with Drew Brees from the New Orleans Saints holding his son after the Saints won the Superbowl which Brees had Autographed. The last item up for grabs was a Black Guitar which every artists who played the benefit had hand signed and of course we had Holden sign it too.  It sold for over $3000 alone.

Then at 7pm, Country music Superstar Tracy Byrd hit the stage playing an acoustic set of all his big hits from "Keeper of the Stars, Holding Heaven, 10 rounds of Jose Cuervo, and Drinkin Bone."

The Jerry Jeff Walker hit the stage with his entire band and rocked the Burton Coliseum followed by Wayne Toups and Zydecajun.

For those who left early, Wayne had a few surprises up his sleeve.  Wayne hit the stage and played a few songs and telling the entire crowd to head towards the stage for some surprises.

First, Wayne Toups called up Tracy Byrd and they played two classic Country songs together.  Then the other big surprise of the night was when the Legendary Jo-El Sonnier was called to the stage with Wayne Toups.  When Wayne introduced Tracy & Jo-El,  the crowd just erupted.

So if you missed the benefit, there was your recap.  All the artists did a great job and remember this was a benefit so all the artists donated there time and played for FREE and boy did they play!!!

All in All it was a great time had by all at the Burton Coliseum and of course a lot of money was raised for little Holden Gothia!!!
