First Area of “Disturbed Weather” Could Be Season’s First Gulf Storm

I hate the term "disturbed weather." Did someone wake this weather up from a nap or do something to make it mad? Regardless .... there is a weak low pressure system over the south-central Gulf of Mexico and forecasters are watching it for tropical formation.

The National Hurricane Center says this system has a "medium" chance of further development. The system did become stronger yesterday. Most of the computer models show the system moving across the gulf to the Florida panhandle then up the east coast. Maximum winds are now at 30 MPH and movement is to the north north-east.
