The 2016 Presidential General Election is Tuesday, November 8, 2016, but you don't have to wait till then to vote. As a matter of fact, it's highly recommended that you DON'T. The best thing to do is vote during the week of Early Voting, because you never know what will come up on election day. Your vote is more important than you could ever imagine. At stake is your future, and that's a pretty big deal. So vote your conscious and vote for someone whom you feel will represent this country best. Running for the office of President of the United States are Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine (Democrat), Donald Trump and Mike Pence (Republican). For other candidates, click here.

Whether you like the two main candidates or not, the fact is that one of them will probably be the next President of the United States. Staying home would be incredibly foolish and could have devastating consequences. By the way, America will not only be deciding on the next President, but also voting on who will go to Washington to control Congress, which is currently run by Republicans. This is a HUGE deal, because Congress can help or stop a President from achieving his or her agenda. So pay close attention to the Representatives running for a seat in the U.S. Senate and those Senators running for re-election in your state. For example: Did you know former Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon, David Duke, is running to represent the fine residents of Louisiana?

Below is a look at all candidates running for Congress in Louisiana: (D)-Democrat, (R)-Republican. To find out who is running in other states, click here.
