Downtown Crawfish Festival This Weekend April 12th-15th
The 2nd annual original Downtown Crawfish festival is this weekend in Lake Charles. The festival is chopped full of carnival rides, food and great entertainment.
One of the big things the festival has is over ten thousand pounds of hot boiled crawfish and a great lineup of Cajun and Zydeco music.
I will be out at the festival Friday night broadcasting live and Mc'ing the event. Here is the lineup for this years Downtown Crawfish festival.

Friday April 13th, 2012
5pm - Ganey Arcemont & The Lakeside Gamblers
6:30pm - Brandon Ledet and Creole Touch

10pm - Andre Thierry and Zydeco Magic
Saturday April 14th, 2012
2pm - Rusty Metoyer and Zydeco Krush
3:30pm - Lawrence "Black" Ardoin Tradition Creole
5pm Horace - Trahan and Ossun Express
7pm - 2011 Grammy Award Winner Chubby Carrier
9pm - Chris Ardoin and Nu Step

Carnival opens on Civic Center grounds
There is also a Parade in Downtown Lake Charles for the festival.

Parade begins at Civic center southeast side traveling through downtown Lake Charles returning back to Civic Center
