DownTown Crawfish Fest This Saturday!!

The Original Downtown Lake Charles Crawfish Festival is Saturday in the Exhibition Hall of the Civic Center beginning at Noon till Midnight and here is some info on the festival including the entertainment!!!!

You asked for it you got it!! The Movers and Shakers of the South is pleased to again present the Original DownTown Lake Charles Crawfish Festival on Saturday,April 16,2011,in downtown Lake Charles. The festival will be held in the Lake Charles Exhibition Hall at 900 Lakeshore Drive. Yes,that’s right! This event will happen rain or shine! It’s all happening from 12 noon until 12 midnight.

Twelve hours of the best fun you have had in a long time. You’ll find Crawfish cooked every way possible,funnel cakes,pizza,snow cones,shrimp on a stick,Bar B Que,turkey legs,fish,homemade pies and so much more. Also purses,t-shirts,jewelry will be available as well.

Enjoy the best music,the best food and more fun than you can handle. Come out and bring the whole family to the best Crawfish Festival in the state! The kids will enjoy one of the biggest Kid Zone areas,and the DownTown Lake Charles Crawfish Festival Queen is excited to meet you.

Dance the day away with the Damon Troy and Louisiana Heat,Rusty Metoyer and the Zydeco Krushers,Zydecane,Lil Nate and the Zydeco Big Tymers,and 2011 Grammy Award Winner Chubby Carrier. Special appearances also by Lil Lo and Shawn Stacx.
