What do Bruce Hamilton, Russ Bordelon, the MSU Cowgirl Kickers, R.I.S.E. Gospel Choir and KPLC's Elizabeth Temple all have in common? They are all putting on a holiday show for a good cause this Sunday evening. This is a great chance to catch the holiday spirit while helping others. The cause is Rebuilding Together Calcasieu, and the dinner theater is to raise much needed funds to make homes more liveable for the less fortunate.

Rebuilding Together - Calcasieu is hosting the dinner and Christmas show this Sunday December 4th at L'Auberge Casino Resort. Rebuilding Together repairs homes for the elderly and disabled. In addition to the performers listed above, you'll see the Barbe Show Choir, the CKDA Dancers, cajun guitars, Kristen and Brian Harrell, and more!

Rebuilding Together assembled tremendous resources to help those affected by hurricanes along the Gulf Coast, but with our aging population and the current economic recession the need for this assistance continues and is likely to be even greater in the future. The recession and cutbacks in federal funding have hurt non-profit organizations in general, which is why this fundraising event is so important.
