Delta Downs Begins Its 2017 Quarter Horse Racing Season Friday

Have you ever been to a live horse racing event?  Well let me tell you it is so much fun to go watch the jockeys and these impressive horses run.

Luckily we have a great facility right here in Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas for you to see it live.  Delta Downs Racetrack in Vinton, Louisiana is set begin their 2017 Quarter Horse racing season this Friday night, April 21st.

Delta's Quarter Horse season will begin this Friday and goes through Saturday July 8th, 2017.  except for this week, racing is every Wednesday through Saturday nights.

On July 8th, Delta Downs will hold their annual Louisiana Showcase Night. This fun night of racing action features eight stakes races for Louisiana-bred horses and the richest race of the season which is called the Lee Berwick Futurity.

Delta Downs is located in Vinton, Louisiana, on Delta Downs Drive. From Lake Charles, take Exit 7 head North and follow the signs.  If your coming from Southeast Texas and  take Exit 4 and head North.
