Cowboys Football Home Opener Saturday Night

Week 3 of the college football season begins Saturday and the McNeese Cowboys finally get to play on there home field.  The Cowboys are 0-1 on the season after losing in week one to Kansas and then having a bye week last week going into Saturday's game against the University of Sioux Falls.

The Cowboys will come out on the field Saturday night from the newly completed Jack Doland field house and there state of the art dressing rooms to a packed house of over 17, 000 fans.

McNeese will also be saluting the military during the game and at halftime, the University will be inducting five former student athletes into the Cowboys Hall of Fame.

Kick off for the game is 7pm Saturday night under the lights at Cowboys Stadium in Lake Charles.
