Tropical Storm Cindy made landfall early this morning, with its center crossing between Cameron, Louisiana and Port Arthur, Texas.

As of 7:00am CDT, the center was around 40 miles south of Lake Charles at latitude 30.5 North, longitude 93.7 West and moving to the North at 12mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Cindy will continue moving inland today, weakening as she goes. High winds and rainfall remain the biggest threats from the storm.

We'll post further updates to our Storm Watch page, as they happen.
