It's Mardi Gras time in Southwest Louisiana which means balls are going on all over the place but most of the balls you have to be a member of a Krewe.

Well I found you one where you don't have to be a member because it is open to the public.  The Krewe De Les Cajun Mardi Gras ball is this Sarturday night at the CFMA building in Lake Charles.

This year, our buddy Chris Miller and Bayou Roots will be playing all your favorite Cajun music from 7pm to 11pm.  This event is opening to all ages and open to the public.

Here are the details:

Where:  CFMA building 3481 East Prien Lake Road just past Home Depot

Time: 7:00 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.

Cost:  $10 at the door, 12 and under Free

Band: Chris Miller and Bayou Roots

Food and Drinks:  Gumbo will be served, Cash Bar fro Soft drinks, Water and Beer.  BYOB your hard liquor

Proceeds go support a great cause, the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association (CFMA) and the Krewe De Les Cajun which promotes the Culture, heritage and language of Louisiana.  We will see you this Saturday night, January 30th, 2016.
