Looks like everything is coming together in the brand New Jack Doland Field House in front of Cowboys Football stadium. McNeese just announced that they have completely Outfitted the weight room now for there athletes.

The new Charles Kuehn weight room in McNeese State's Jack Doland Field House has been completely outfitted.

All of the weights and machines were in place on Friday. The 8,000 square foot weight room will open when the field house has been completed and accepted by the university.

Life Fitness Company and Hammer Strength Company outfitted the room, making it a showcase weight facility.

Weights are painted in platinum and blue and there are16 Mondo enlayed platforms for heavy weight work, one of only eight schools in the nation to have this.

The weight room also includes: 16 multi-purpose racks, 80,000 pounds of weights (McNeese logo on the weights), nine 52 inch flat screen television sets, mirrors all the way around, two treadmills, two elliptical machines, a stationary bike and a $12,000 surround sound system donated by Scott Bailey and Bailey Audio.
