Cassidy Beats Landrieu in Southwest Louisiana Parishes

By now you know about the Cassidy/ Landrieu run off set for December 12th. It would appear that Mary Landrieu has some catching up to do according to an article in today's Lake Charles American Press.

The article point out that in Tuesdays voting Cassidy took Calcasieu Parish with 46% of the vote to Landrieu's 37%. In Allen Parish it was 44 percent Cassidy and 31% Landrieu. Cassidy captured 54 percent in Beauregard Parish to Mary's 22 percent. Cameron Parish residents went 54% for Cassidy and 26 percent for Landrieu. Cassidy won Jeff Davis Parish with 46 percent of the vote and Vernon Parish with 58 percent of the vote. It would seem that Senator Landrieu has a hole to dig out of by December.
