Authorities Continue The Search For Murder Suspect
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is till on the lookout for a Murder suspect which occured Sunday Morning. KPLC Tv News has released the following info:
Authorities continue their search Monday morning for a man suspected of killing his estranged wife south of Lake Charles.
Officials with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office say 43-year-old Joe Constance broke into the home of Mary Jeanette Duhon on Sunday morning around 7:30 a.m. Authorities say he was armed with a shotgun which he used to fatally shoot Duhon.
Constance reportedly fled the scene in his pickup truck, which was found abandoned a short time later.
A search continues for Constance. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts with no shirt. He should be considered armed and dangerous, so if you see him, you are asked to dial 911.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office says they will hold a news briefing to update the search on Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. You can watch this LIVE on kplctv.com. Just look for the link at the top of the homepage.
