So I can remember not that long ago that the football game between Arkansas and LSU was the last game of the year and was held the day after Thanksgiving.  It also always had some sort of ramifications on who would advance to the SEC championship.

Well since then, this rivalry game has been moved up on the schedule but it is still a pride game for both programs because it is for the "Battle of the Boot".  A huge gold trophy shaped like the out line of the state of Louisiana and Arkansas and it looks like a boot hence why the trophy and game is called that.  Here is what the trophy looks like:

The LSU Tigers are coming off of a loss to Alabama and sit at 7-1 on the season.  Arkansas are 5-4 on the season and are coming off of a huge win over Ole Miss last Saturday.

LSU and Arkansas game kicks off at 6:15 p.m. tonight and will be televised on ESPN. Who will take home the boot?  We will see!
