Over the span of filming for four days, the homicide and the extensive ground search executed by law enforcement was re-enacted for the show, as well as interviews conducted with Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso, Cameron Parish Sheriff Theos Duhon, and US Marshal’s Office Deputy Michael Dicharry.  The search re-enactment was filmed at the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge.  The re-enactment of the murder was filmed at a local mobile home park.  The Southwest Louisiana Film Alliance, an umbrella organization of the Lake Charles/Southwest Louisiana Convention & Visitors Bureau, assisted with production needs.
