So there is gambling casino's and truck stops where Video poker is everywhere in Southwest Louisiana.  Now its Allen Parish Residents turn to vote on if they want it in there Parish.

OBERLIN, LA (KPLC) -

Allen Parish voters banned video poker fifteen years ago, but now they will be asked to allow it again.

A recent Police Jury vote will put a referendum to reinstate video poker on the October 22 ballot.

Parish officials say the machines could bring in $160,000 per year for the parish.

Allen was among 33 parishes that banned the machines back in 1996.
