Alcohol Sales in Lake Charles Allowed for New Year’s Eve

If you can't make it to the liquor store before Sunday, December 31, 2017, it's ok. The Lake Charles city council is making an exception for New Year's Eve.

During a recent meeting, the council agreed it would adopt an ordinance allowing retail permit holders to only sell alcohol on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

The council had also previously allowed the sale of alcohol on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24, 2017.
