2015 Veterans Day : Free Meals And Discounts For Veterans

Veterans Day is just around the corner and on behalf of my family and all of us here at The Peoples Station 107 Jamz, we want to say thank you to all the veterans across the world for your service!

Every year, restaurants chains and other businesses across the country want to show their thanks by offering free meal, discounts and super deals.  Thanks to the folks at The Military Wallet, we've got a pretty extensive list of locations, dates and times, veterans take advantage of these awesome deals.

FYI, the following list will continually be updated until Veterans Day.  For now, click here for complete list of what we have now.

Please note some locations go by the honor system, while most will require the following Proof of Military Service:

A Military ID Card (active/reserve/retired), VA ID card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Drivers License with Veterans Designation, Photograph in uniform, wearing your uniform (if your service permits), Veterans Organization Card (e.g., American Legion and VFW), DD214, discharge paperwork, or other form of identification.

The Military Wallet also suggests you always call ahead to verify locations, times, and whether or not the location of interest is participating.  The reason for this is a lot of companies are franchises and have different policies. So it's always good to double check.
